Roles and Responsibilities:
This position has responsibility and authority for: Directly participate in the development of programs to support, interfaces, reports, and enhancements Analyze functional specifications, understand business needs, and recommend solutions using system standards and best practices. Conduct analysis of system specifications and configuration then develop appropriate documentation. Write technical documents to support the functional specification for development and other efforts. Help business analyst develop conversion and system implementation plans. Train business analyst on new or modified programs Maintain system integrity with application of patches, upgrades, custom changes, and user updates.
Skill/Job Requirements:
In order to adequately perform the responsibilities of this position the individual must:
4 to 6 years of experience developing functional programs, reports, interfaces and custom objects. Knowledge and general understanding of the business area that you support. Ability to understand functional specification documents and create a supporting technical document. Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process in a FDA validated environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Understanding of general business processes like order to cash is a plus Proficiency in SAP ABAP programming including Module Pool, Reports, ALV lists, Function Modules, ABAP Objects, User exits, BADI, BTE, ALE, EDI, IDOC,Smartforms, SAP Scripts, BDC, BAPI and Unicode conversion. Perform code reviews of development from other team members and provide advice on areas for improvement Smartforms, SAP Scripts, BDC, BAPI and Unicode conversion Experience with configuring or customizing applications like SAP,SAP PI and SAP CRM is desirable.
