ERP Business Analyst / Trainer

SAP MM Functional Analyst defines business processes, develop requirements, develop functional and technical specifications and design business solutions ensuring integration of the overall solution. Working with both process and IT teams, verifies solutions, configures SAP modules (MM, PP and other), identifies and resolves issues, coordinates with SAP and/or the SAP Implementation Partner on business requirements, and performs other related tasks as assigned in support of the ERP system management. The position requires close and frequent interaction with business process owners and functional customers. This Business Analyst also is mainly responsible for SAP Training, both conducting detailed training and coordinating activities of other Business Analysts and working with the Training Department on Administrative issues.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
1. IT Business Analyst supporting SAP R/3, SAP Materials Management (MM) primarily, Logistics and SAP Production Planning (PP) secondarily.
2. Support of current application systems, including resolving issues and developing enhancements to systems already in place.
3. Work with the business to identify and define best business practices and project/enhancement requirements.
4. Implementation of new changes or business functions as required by the business units.
5. Documentation and training of newly implemented systems and/or processes.
6. Travel as required by project assignment.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES
Some major skills and experience which are required include:
• Bachelors degree in Business or Information Systems and 10+ years general business or IT experience
• At least 5 years experience as a SAP MM Business Analyst supporting Planning/Logistics/ Manufacturing function or 5 years experience within a business Planning/ Logistics/ Manufacturing area
• Exceptional teamwork skills;
• Effective communication – both verbal and written – particularly the presentation of functional technical material;
• Demonstrated ability to embrace Full Spectrum Leadership Behaviors;
• Ability to think in complex and ever-changing situations, strong communication skills and the ability to solve problems, execute and transfer knowledge;
• Experience as a Business Analyst in full lifecycle SAP implementations;
Global ERP implementations experience a plus;
Experience with process documentation and testing;
Functional expertise in Materials Management and Production Planning (desired)
• Experience in at least two of: forecasting, supply network planning, demand planning, materials management/procurement, capacity planning and/or production planning
• Breadth of knowledge in the related business/functional work processes: Use of an ERP or logistics system in this capacity
SAP experience required:
SAP R/3 Material Management (MM)
SAP Warehouse Management (WW)
SAP R/3 Production Planning (PP) – (Desired)

• Ability to understand and assess system integration points within SAP and with other systems to determine implications for system upgrades, changes and performance with respect to introducing new systems into the mix.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks; self confident and assertive, and able to contribute to the overall success of a team.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational and prioritizing skills.
