Job Requirements:

We are looking for an individual to participate in the design, programming, and testing of enhancements to our Custom database application products .The primary function of this candidate will be working with our Existing E-Catalog DBA team to design and develop Database Tables, SQL Stored Procedures and DTS packages. Must be able to setup and maintain database maintenance processes and resolve and offer solutions to complex database issues.

Experience:

SQL Server Database Developer with 5 to 7+ years experience in maintaining large databases and supporting existing custom database applications. Develop new database applications through the complete system development life cycle from conception to delivery. Perform SQL code review and perform in code SQL to Stored Procedure conversion and optimization. Perform Database and table modeling and optimization. Complete system development life cycle process from conception to delivery. Understands data modeling and can use tools like ERWIN to model and analyze database structure for efficacy and performance.

Communication:

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal required. The candidate must be comfortable communicating in a team environment using non-offensive communication. The candidate must be able to communicate effectively with upper management and cross departmental staff. Written communications skills will include system and database documentation

Education:

Candidate must have a BS Degree in computer science or related field.

Technical / Organization Skills:

The ideal candidate must have excellent analytical and organizational skills and be a self starter as well as being able to work on projects as part of a team or independently.
