Database Administrator and Reports Designer
The Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology located in West Roxbury is looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DA) in our MIS Department to support our ever growing database and report needs. The DA will closely with MIS Manager in multiple database related tasks such as setting up a system to integrate data flow between different departments, design and maintain batch files for scheduled, automated database tasks such as import, export, insert and update data records. Design crystal report templates for different departmental needs, and create online forms to streamline work protocols.
The DA is required to work in a challenging, fast paced, growing environment – where multi-tasking, clear communication, priority managing, and ability to meet deadlines are required skills. The DA needs to be detail oriented, patient, and dedicated and work with utmist vigilance to insure data integrity.

Qualifications:
Solid Understanding in RDMS especially MS SQL 2005, and Data Warehousing
Have at least 4 years of experiences in Microsoft SQL Server farms, creating queries and views, automatic tasks, database optimization, backup, upgrade, relocate, restore, database disaster recovery, documentation and database permission/security management.
Familiar with MS SQL Command Line Tools
Experience in implementing database related projects or build enterprise database from scratch.
Ability in creating customized data mapping from one external data service to another.
Ability in creating customized data connector to process data import/export from different databases.
Knowledge with Campus Café by Scan Software is a big plus
Working Experience in educational environment or corporate with 50+ users is a plus
Knowledge with T-SQL and have good knowledge how to hand-code a query
Knowledge with Crystal Report and ability to create a crystal report from scratch.
Knowledge with HTML, XML, ASP, VBScript or PHP for creating online forms.
MCP and database related certificate is a major plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suits, knowledge with SharePoint and InfoPath is a plus.
Act as a back-up to MIS Manager in his absence
Bachelor Degree in Information Systems or related field required. MS preferred.
